Camp PoliciesPetsPets are not allowed on the grounds or in any buildings. Overnight StayIf you are staying overnight you should bring all the bedding and personal items you would bring on a camping trip. All the camp furnishes is the bed. Please prepare for campers who wet the bed. SmokingSmoking is NOT allowed inside of any building. Alcoholic BeveragesAlcoholic beverages are NOT allowed in the buildings or on the grounds. Cleaning of FacilitiesEach group using the camp is expected to leave the facilities clean for the next group to enjoy. Brooms and other cleaning supplies are provided in each building. Cleaning instructions are posted in each building. If clean up is not adequately taken care of by the group, the camp caretaker will determine the additional charges to be made ($50.00 minimum). Groups not leaving the facilities in good condition may be denied the use of Camp Albemarle in the future. Groups are responsible for the cost of damages beyond normal wear. Fireworks and FirearmsCamp Albemarle does not permit the use of fireworks. Firearms are not allowed on camp property. Use of EquipmentIf you are using the athletic equipment, please return all equipment to the equipment shed. Canoes should be returned to the racks and securely tied. Boating accessories should be returned to the boat shed in proper order. SwimmingCamp Albemarle does not provide lifeguards. Quiet HoursQuiet hours begin at 11:00pm and last until 8:00am. DepositsUnless other arrangements have been made with the office, your deposit should accompany the signed contract and be returned to the office by the date specified on the contract. If you cancel your reservation more than 60 days in advance of your scheduled date or if the camp office can schedule another group in your place, you will receive a refund of your deposit minus a $50.00 service charge. Group leaders are responsible for their group's knowledge of and compliance with all camp policies. |
