Challenge Course

Camp Albemarle's new challenge course program uses games, group initiatives and low challenge course elements to explore group interaction, problem-solving, leadership and trust. Through these team building activities, participants will recognize the unique contributions of each group member while learning how to perform more effectively as team.

Groups will be presented with mental and physical challenges by our trained facilitators, who encourage creativity in problem solving and lead discussions regarding communication, cooperation and team work throughout the experience.

Technical Tree Climbing

Come enjoy the beauty of Camp Albemarle from a different vantage point. Technical tree climbing utilizes harnesses and ropes to allow safe access to the tree tops. Climbers can climb to whatever height they are comfortable with and are encouraged to challenge themselves. Technical tree climbing is accessible for climbers of a variety of ages and abilities.
